"Look, if you don-" I began but was cut off as Ben pulled out his gun and fired a bullet at the roof making a huge creeking nosie. I fliched then glanced up at the celling, praying it wasn't going to incave on us. Once I was sure it wasn't I looked at Avery. She was gripping the knife harder now as if the shoots bought back bad memorise. I guess her family life was just as fab as mine.

"Ben." I began seeing how scared Avery looked. Before I could say anything else Ben fired another in the air. I rolled my eyes at this.
'You won't shoot me.' Avery breathed.
"No, Ben won't." I said shooting Ben a warning glace. I wanted to know more about Avery. "But he will do a good aim at you if you don't start answering our questions."
